Cozy Cousins

Hey Sweet Boy....

This is one of Diva's favorite pictures.  Cousin Emma got to spend some time with her favorite Tennessee boy cousins.  You liked playing with Emma's toys, dolls and My Little Ponies.  All of you enjoyed the wading pool in the back yard since it was so hot.

You don't get to see Emma very often so it is always lots of fun when you do.  Poppa and Diva love having all our grandchildren together.  From all the smiles and laughter I think all of you enjoy being together.

Poppa and I pray that you will always enjoy Emma and look forward to her visits. This picture makes Diva smile too.

This was the breeding zoo that we went to.  You and your cousins got to feed the giraffes  Auntie Becky and Uncle Jerry were there  along with Diva and Poppa.  You liked the animals.

We are looking forward to many more adventures with you and your sweet Mommy and Daddy.

We miss you.

Happy 4th of July with Cousin Emma

Hey Little Fire Cracker.....

Today is Independence Day.  We celebrate it every year with fire works, sparklers, parades, picnics, and family.  This is your Canadian Cousin Emma's first celebration of American Independence Day in America.  Diva and Poppa love having all the grandchildren and families together.  Your sweet Mommy was trying to get a picture of all of us in our red, white, and blue clothing.   This was the last picture she took and smart Mommy got lots of smiles when she said, "Ok, everybody say Donut".  Look at the smiles all around you.  You may have noticed you don't look very happy sitting in Poppa's lap.  You wanted to get down and go get a donut.  Silly boy!

Your Daddy is a great grill master and grilled hotdogs and hamburgers.  You got to sit at the kids table with all the big kids.  We also had corn on the cob which was a big favorite with you.

Your daring Daddy bought fireworks to shoot off in the back yard.  They were really loud and I thought you might be scared....but not you.  I got to hold you in my lap just because you are very curious and like to touch the fireworks and could get hurt.  Actually I think you helped Diva not to be so jumpy with all the loud noises.  My brave Henry!

Mommy made sure you had some "sparkles" for you to wave while Emma and the brothers were playing with sparklers.  You would giggle and wave your red, white and blue sparkles and I would clap my hands for you.

This is my favorite picture of the day.  Thank you for letting me and Poppa join you for all the fun.

Poppa and Diva love to watch you grow and spend special celebrations with you.  You and your brothers add the sparkle in our Independence Day .  God Bless America and God Bless my smallest fire cracker.....Henry.
